What telehealth is
Telehealth means receiving care from a licensed provider using electronic communications instead of an in-person visit.
Visits happen through a secure telehealth platform. Your licensed provider reviews your intake before any prescription is issued.
Benefits and risks
Telehealth can make care more convenient. Risks include that a provider may not be able to examine you in person, that information may be incomplete, and that, rarely, technology failures or security breaches may occur.
Your agreement
You agree to give complete and accurate information, understand that your provider may decide telehealth is not appropriate for you, and understand that no treatment is guaranteed to be prescribed.
Care is provided by independent, U.S.-licensed providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) working with a supervising physician.
Emergencies
Telehealth is not for emergencies. Call 911 in an emergency.
